"Tilly" Print#
27786 The Tillamook Head Lighthouse, which was deactivated in 1957, sets about a mile off shore from Tillamook Head near Cannon Beach and Seaside Oregon. It has also been reffered to as "Terrible Tilly" because of the harsh conditions it is often subject to. It was most recently used as a columbarium until its license was revoked in 1999. Because it sets so far off shore, binoculars are a great help to see any detail when viewing from the beach. A 400mm camera lense was used to take this photo.
