While at Silver Falls in Oregon, my friend and fellow photographer, Jon Ingram, had been keeping
a lookout for swirling water in the pools of the streams there. He had found this particular one and was
taking photos of a leaf spinning around using a long exposure. He graciously allowed me to copy his idea
and his composition. Thanks Jon, for sharing your creativity with me! This was a 13 second exposure.
The leaf started to sink and for just a moment kind of stayed in place which gave a nice effect. Notice also
the second swirl in the upper left.
